A small Memorial Service will be held at Trader Horn, Lake Chivero, on Saturday 8th February at 11am, should family and friends wish to celebrate the life of a true gentleman. ++++++ BULAWAYO QUILTERS' GUILD The Bulawayo Quilters' Guild will hold its first meeting of 2014 on Saturday 8 February 2014. Meetings are held at OM's Club hall, 12th Ave/Townsend Rd at 10 for 10:30am and are held on the second Saturday of each month from February to November. In 2014 the August meeting will be 2 August and there will be no September meeting as Bulawayo will be hosting the National Quilt Show on 13-14 September at Whitestone School Hall. 2014 membership fees are USD25 for the year including library membership, with a $5 joining fee for new members. Thank you wonderful people of Bulawayo!! ++++++ PETRA HIGH SCHOOL’S 6TH ANNUAL T20 CRICKET TOURNAMENT Enjoy some exciting 20/20 school boy cricket and a fun-filled family weekend at Petra High School, Chelmsford Road, Matsheumhlope, on Friday 14th February 2014 and Saturday 15th February 2014. Participating schools: C.B.C., Churchill, Eaglesvale, Hellenic College, Kyle College, Milton High, Prince Edward and Petra High. The Tournament will start at 7am and end at 6pm on both days. Gate entrance will be free on Friday and $1.00 on Saturday. Free admission for scholars in uniform. Food and drinks will be on sale.
